Explore the wilderness of Chopta and get enthralled in the mesmerizing atmosphere of natural tranquility. Enjoy this haven from the bustle of typical tourist attractions as you watch the scenic beauty of many peaks around the valley. Go on a trekking adventure towards Chandrashila peak and enjoy 360 degrees of views upon the Himalayas, or visit Tungnath temple, the highest temple dedicated to Lord Shiva at an elevation of 3680m (12073 ft). Neither one of the trails are considered very difficult. Abundant restaurants and lodgings on the top, but mind that they don’t operate in winter months. To visit Chopta on your trip to Ukhimath, use our Ukhimath tour planner.
