Monument
Maharana Pratap Memorial commemorates the 16th-century Hindu ruler called Pratap Singh, and his lifelong struggle against the Mughals. The memorial features a life-sized bronze statue of a gallant warrior mounted on a legendary horse Chetak, which attacked a war elephant and leaped across the pass of Haldighati. At the Hall of Heroes, history buffs can enjoy murals, paintings, and portraits of warlords, while children can admire mannequins dressed for war and large models of old cities and battlefields. The attraction narrates the history of the area, while the statue continues to feature prominently in many popular Bollywood movies. • Great place to visit. We need to climb a lot, better take you cab with you inside. Visit museum then the statue. Great models there. View of city is awesome from above.
  • The view from the top is awesome and must see the garden is beautifully developed and well maintained. Though the charges of electric car to the top are on higher side, would suggest just to walk your way up.
  • A small plateau by the side of Fatah Sagar Lake in Udaipur. At the top there is a big statue of Maharana Pratap in his famous horse, Chetak. There is a museum as well where you can see descriptive displays of glorious history of Mewar kingdom. Also there are model which give details depictions of famous forte and a bird eye view of Haldi War (1576) seen.
  • Beautiful Statue of Maharana Pratap feeling proud to be a citizen of India. From here you can capture Intresting views of father agar lake.
  • A life size statue of Maharana Pratap. Good place for revisiting history..
