  • This historic temple is dedicated to Lord Rama and is situated on the banks of Karuvannur river. Panoramic view of temple can be experienced from the other side of the river. Good atmosphere, have the basic facilities and a must watch religious destination in Thrissur district.

  • Thriprayar Sree Rama Temple, located on the banks of Theevra (Purayar) river in Thrissur district. As the name indicates the main deity is Lord Sree Rama, with Lord Ganapathy, Sree Krishna, Dharmasastha. Its a very calm and quite place. The popular vazhipadu (Offering) is meenoottu (food for fish in the river). Pants are allowed here. Its on of the naalambalams - four temples, auspicious during Karkidakam Month. Direct buses to Guruvayur and Kodungallur temples are available from Thriprayar
  • One of the ancient and famous Srirama temple in Kerala. This temple is situated in the banks of river.Famous for ekadashi and arattu.Giving food for fishes is a important custom here.Vedi vazhipadu also important for thriprayar thevar.During Ramayana month visiting this temple is considered very good.
  • So are the facilities like toilets, urinals etc. Devotees are offered free warm drinking water and ginger coffee.
