  • Animals are kept in very bad conditions. The leopard was injured and kept in a very small cage, it's torture when they should be roaming in large tracts of forest. Large birds were kept in groups that did not like each other's company. Very bad condition of the Sambhar deer: they all had open sores on their bodies with raw flesh being fed on by crows. This place is a disgrace to culture, please do not support it.
  • A lot better than earlier days. Still points for improvement exist. Animal population have increased with variety in consideration. But the staff friendliness is what I mark my points the best.
  • If you are a inhabitant of around 200 km from thrissur ,you must see this place one time in each year ,that much changes they are providing ,.....3D HALL...go with children ,let them enjoy ,dont worry about the money you are spending that money for animal service. We visited Thrissur zoo with our whole family. This is OK. You can see wild animals such as lion, tiger , elephent etc. but not expect more.
  • Every time I go to Thrissur, it has become a ritual to visit the zoo and the museum inside. The fees are so low, that one would not even think of not going here. My daughter gets her animals names revised. The best sight is the peacock as the first cage. Very cheap.
  • Animals here are struggling a lot to live.. I think they don't have enough freedom and enough food..... Those animals should be freeed from the cages.
