  • one of the greatest temples in Trichur, the main festival of this temple (and of Thiruvambadi - another temple of Sree Krishna - combined) is known as the famous Trchur Pooram.
  • One of the famous Bagavathi temples in Kerala. Beautiful and lots of culture and history as in the many temples in Kerala. Strict dress code applies. Children below one year will not be allowed. There is a small shop within the temple premises that sells dhoties just in case one comes unprepared to visit this temple.
  • The temple is positioned in the main street of thrissur, facing swaraj round ,temple itself a land mark.well maintained, Excellent administration
  • I liked the Velichappadu there ; real treat for the eyes and one gets peace of mind .
  • Close to the Vadakkumnatha Temple, a major place of worship and good to visit during the Pooram days.
