It's a surprise factor on the way from Karaikudi to Poompuhar. We were not aware of this place before. But it's a visit which is worth. The fort is maintained very well.

It is a small well maintained Danish fort located on the seashore. Because of the scenic beauty and tranquility of the place it is worth a visit. Also there is a maritime museum nearby. One can also visit the velankinni church from there.
I Love this place it nice to visit in summer vacation
