  • We went there in the month of November 2016. There was no water and Ropeway was also closed. The view was great but we were bit disappointed.
  • One can visit the dam on the way to Srisailam Temple. There is a view point that comes where you can easily park your vehicle and have a look at the view of the dam.
  • Doors of the dams were closed .So we didn't get the oppurtunity to see the water fall like situation.

  • Very nice place to visit. It is build on Krishna river in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh. There are many view points made to have a look of the dam and click photos. Its a big tourist attraction.
  • Although dam is very beautiful but in some areas near dam are very dirty. Overall it is a good place to visit and it will come in your way while going to srisailam
  • This is the 2nd largest hydroelectric plant in the country. Such a massive structure. Half part of the dam is in Telangana and other half in Andhra Pradesh. There are multiple spots where you can take breathtaking photos. If possible go during monsoon season as sometime if you're lucky you can see the gates being opened. That would be a sight you don't wanna miss. Also from Srisailam there is a boat ride in the reservoir do visit that too.
  • Srisailam dam is very nice project but small when compared to nagarjuna sagar dam
  • Nice dam at Srisailam. Good view. Dam at holy place.
