  • The summer palace is an old construction with 60% of wood. The paintings on the walls are so beautiful. The building is in weak condition. The ASI is renovating the building. It is better to visit the place as soon as possible since first floor is prohibited to public because the building is not able to withhold the weight. The authorities afraid of demolition at any time. The garden around the building is beautiful and well maintained.
  • This place is Tipu sultan's museum. There is a huge park outside this museum which is maintained very well. The museum has the painting on walls depicting wars fought with the Britishers. It has collection of some of Tipu sultan's armoury, his clothes, coins, photos and furniture. But the collection is very limited.
