Sinthan Top, Srinagar

(110+ reviews on the web)
A midway on the recently opened road from Anantnag to Kishtwar, Sinthan Top offers panoramic views of the snowcapped mountains and low-lying regions. Sited 3,658 m (12,000 ft) above sea level, it is easily accessible thanks to the new highway, but you’ll still have to drive through challenging serpentines to reach the top. Once at the top, trek further up the hill for even better 360 degree views or simply walk on snow. Note that the winds are strong and the sun is scorching, so dress appropriately and put on some sunscreen. Put Sinthan Top at the forefront of your travel plans using our Srinagar vacation route planner.
