  • First you will have to buy tickets to enter the main premises area. Tickets are purchased for a particular interval of time frame and entry is provided at that time only. That is the most important part one should take care before visiting. I recommend to be there at early morning and first purchase the tickets and then enjoy the backyard area. No photography allowed inside the premises. Its a great place to spend the leisure time.
  • Very nice place and must visit place in Shimla. This place tells about Britishers life style, their ruling capabilities, their administration. Huge garden area , many types of flowers and plants available here. There is guide available and they will accurately describe the history of this institute. Ample parking space available and canteen is also available. Very nice place to spend good time with family. Open on Sunday too,but closed on Mondays so plan your trip accordingly.
  • Fortunate to visit this historical place in 2013 and to flash back to the events going through each of the storyline explained by the excellent guide out there is one of a lifetime's experience. The electrical system installed by the British was well ahead of time at during that period and I was surprised to see how well that is functioning in present days as well. Could not get hold of the inside views as photography is strictly prohibited inside the building... We recommend every Indian to visit this place ...
  • A very beautiful place to visit in Shimla. Although they will charge some entry fee but that's really not much for a really quality time spending. A guide will also be there to help you guys telling you each and everything about the place. A very remarkable building here with a really beautiful structure. It has a very big past related with it since the British rule. Lot of stuff to do here. Come and have fun while shooting some damn cool pics.
  • If you are planning to visit Shimla then this place has to be on your list. It is away from the chaos of the city and presents you the highlights of the British era. The guides explain the place very accurately and possess deep knowledge. You can also have a view of Shimla sitting in the beautiful gardens of studies.
