  • This place is undoubtly the most historic and scenic place in Shimla. The government has maintained it pretty well. The best part is the guided tour around wherein you get to know the historic importance of this place viz the place where the partition of India was decided and discussed Also the technology they used to protect the place from fire a 100 years ago. Please don't forget to get a photo session done by an old gentleman who is doing this for the last 45 years and is exceptionally good and doing his job.
  • The place is very quiet, as not much cars are allowed up here, the only noise you'll hear of are people and nature. The historical buildings are amazing, also the garden is well built.
