  • The hill derives its name from Observatory House which was built in 1840 by Captain J. T. Boileau. First electric lighting place of shimla
  • One of the places to visit in Shimla. Elegant building which has been made into a museum worth going if you love history. Also in the backyard there are gardens and other places to see. Totally worth going if you visit Shimla
  • This is simply beautiful. The architecture is magnificent as well as the overall ambience of the place. The official tour can be better as they show you a very limited amount of the building from inside but still, it is immensely beautiful and the atmosphere outside, in its gardens, is generally peaceful.
  • Amazing experience. Great guided tour inside. Amazing botanical garden
  • The best place ever visited a must visit for every one visiting shimla , I has a great historical importance and its located on the observatory hill of shimla thus the scenic beauty is wonderful
