  • Wow, what an amazing experience. Bring interest in life, the universe and all the rest. And bring time. The museum is split into topics which can be explored from the bottom floors to the roof, all is amazingly well explained, modeled and put together. Take a cup of the tasty coffee to the gallery on the top and enjoy the nice view. I definitely would do that again, with even more time. It is a museum of seemingly everything (besides Star Trek 😉)
  • I found it best part of Shillong city. It has seven floors , a roof top view of Shillong city and a beautiful sovernier shop. you will get many photo opportunity for sure but there is much more to offer. Each floor shows one or two feature of entire northeast. Seventh floor even has a projector and sitting arrangement and movies and songs are played here. Entry is 100/adult and 100 for camera (your mobile phone camera ). Different timings for summers and winters and remains closed on Sundays.
  • Indeed this a must visit place. So much you will learn in shortest possible time. Maintained properly by the stuffs. Rooftop walk was memorable and splendid. Please don't miss to watch top floor video screening. Ticket price was 100 per head but I would say its totally worthy.

  • A good museum for this part of the world. Many exhibits highlighting different aspects of North East India, including clothing, religion and industry. Exhibits are neatly displayed with some information available in most cases. There is also a viewpoint over the city from the roof for times when the Shillong Peak is closed to foreign tourists.
