  • Thoseghar waterfalls is a scenic spot located near the small village of Thoseghar, 20 km from Satara city, at the edge of the Konkan region, in Western India. There are a series of waterfalls, some of them 15 to 20 metres and one of approx 200 metres in height. People come from all over Maharashtra to visit the area, especially during the rainy or monsoon season, July to November. Heavy rain falls during that season, and because of this the falls have more water and are more spectacular. The immediate area is calm and quiet, with a clean lake and dark woods in a hilly area.
  • A tourist place one must enjoy in monsoon. This place is just for enjoying the waterfall. If you are a nature lover you must go there in monsoon. The small family running dabhas or other small restaurant do sell good meal and snacks. Do bring one pair of extra clothes and towel as you are for sure going to get wet.. The small food place will let you use their washroom but it will be charged and the charges are not too much.
  • Amazing water fall, only 29 Km from Satara city. Easily assessable by Tar road. Having ample parking space. Local hotels providing good food. Prior order will save time. Be sure to listen police or forest people as it's on of the highest waterfalls in Maharashtra. Chalke wadi windmills are very near from waterfall.
  • Amazing place to have a great outing with family. The best season to visit Thoseghar Waterfall is July to August. Recently they have built museum.
  • Nice waterfall in Satara district. Best visit in july to November. Entry fee 20 rs per person. Be carefully walk in rainy season. Keep clean . Be safe.
