  • If this question to ask me, I'm on it will answer in the affirmative. Yes, I got into the jungle through excursions from "guiding star"-"Welcome to the jungle" 66 years. This age already. There were doubts: will I be able to pass this mountain road. But thanks to the Guide to Boris, who is very attentive to the members of the tour group, I was able to go this way. And what is the way to go! Liana: thick and thin, they envelop the trees and block you way. And that's before you waterfall. A powerful jet of water falls down. Waterfall Surlo. It impressed me more than the Dudhsagar. Maybe because I was here alone with nature? In our group there were only 7 people. Had a rest here and Indian schoolchildren on vacation. The noise of falling down water and you are a little man at the foot of this power. Return path has gone unnoticed. If any forces breathed into me. And I was the oldest Hindu temple, made of basalt. It's small, but attracts attention. And we had dinner on the spice plantations "Tropical". We gave the national vodka FeNi, ice cream, local food (buffet). After lunch, Boris arranged with a tour guide and we introduced with different spices. Here bought cinnamon and limondras. Beautiful plantation. Here you can simply sit among tropical plants. Conclusion: who wants to see untouched nature India, spices that so attracted the Portuguese, to touch the Hindu religion-you need to make this interesting tour "call of nature".

  • It is about 20 Kms from Mollem Checkpost - sign board is there before the petrol bunk if you are going from Panjim. Small temple, neat and tidy. River flowing by and you can have a dip in the river No...  more »

  • Oh God, this place is now in the middle of Forest, but once it must have been a bustling place. Hats off to the great people who built this Temple. The drive is one of the best in the middle of cool Forest. Breath some fresh air. There are a couple of tea stalls once you park your vehicle. They are selling the things at normal rates in this remote place. Hence give some business to those poor people. It is a service done to the God. As you near the bridge, the water below is cool and clean. The temple is nice. Made up of stone. Spend some quality time here. Ideal for meditation. Not many tourists come here, hence you can spend your time in leisure. If my review is useful, click on "Like" below.
  • Such a great place... The only disappointment was that the monkey visit is decreased... Now more people started visiting this place... Best place to bring your loved once.. There is also a stream of water... The surround of the temple is full of flowers and the temple is cold even in the summer season... There are butterfly every where... Loved the place so much.. Also there r stalls of eatables and flower offer to the God... Please visit this place in rainy season...😊
  • Nice place. There is information board by archeological survey of India. Very well maintained garden/park surrounding the temple. There is nice stream flowing along the temple. It has public washroom facilities as well. It has few shops for cool drinks and tea/ coffee.
  • Wonderful temple. Will take you back in time. Not like temples you see around these days. Has not been touched by commercialization and retains it's original characteristics. Must visit.
  • Beautiful monument with greenery around it and amazing ambience. Visit specially during rains. Amazing climate. No network :( and many stalls are there to make sure you aren't starving. One more plus point is that.. There are washrooms.. I mean too good...

Where to stay in Goa

One of the more affordable regions for staying in India, Goa offers a good range of sleeping options, from budget to luxurious. Visitors looking for that feeling of home away from home can explore rental apartments, which offer more space than a hotel room and often come with fully equipped kitchens. Look for an apartment in Oxel or Siolim, peaceful villages with gated communities and a range of facilities. Beach houses and private villas offer an alternative for those with deeper pockets, while beach huts/shacks work well for budget-conscious travelers.
