Walk across Ram Jhula, a 230 m (750 ft) long iron suspension bridge spanning the Ganges River. This famous landmark of Rishikesh connects Shivananda Ashram and Swargashram and offers visitors panoramic views of the city.   • One can watch huge fishes in the middle of Ganga from the jhoola. Most of the time the jhoola is crowded with pedestrians and motor cyclists crossing to either sides. 
  • I visited Rishikesh very first time nd visited jhula. I was feeling calm n tranquil in my heart. Must visit place.

  • Crossing the wide Bhagirathi river here across its gentle but swift presence is very pleasant. Having food at Chotiwalas near Ram Jhula was delicious

  • Ram jhula is a bridge over the holy river GANGA. This bridge is too narrow for car only two wheelers allowed and you can also walk on your foot.

  • There are 2 Zula (bridge)s. Ram Zula & Laxman Zula. Ram & Laxman were brothers acc to Hindu Mythology. This Ram Zula is comes 1st when you enter Rishikesh from Haridwar side. Hung on steel cables it twists about its axis & gives amazing feeling to walkers. The view from here of Ganga & its Ghats is beautiful.
