Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, Rishikesh
(4.4/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web)
Witness a traditional Hindu prayer at Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, one of the area's most-visited ceremonies along the river. Set atop a ghat, or flight of riverfront steps, the prayer involves chanted verses along with bells and drums played by devotees. You can visit and watch as large numbers of leaf boats, filled with flowers and topped with oil candles, are set afloat on the Ganges. Alternatively, stop by one of the many nearby stalls to grab a lantern of your own and add it to the flotilla. Note that two other holy rivers, the Saraswathy and the Yamuna, join with the Ganges here. • The entire experience was quite mesmerizing. My only suggestion would be not to play movie bhajans. Otherwise the entire experience was unforgettable.

  • If you are looking for an intimate family like experience for Ganga aarti, this is it. Clean ghat, welcoming people and the musicians performing the bhajans are top of the line. Vocalist and tabla player are mesmerizing.
  • I have been to this place in the evening and the feel of this place is very religious. I didn't got wet but there is place for women to change after ganga snan. I think things can be managed more. Aarti at this ghat is marvellous. I Enjoy Aarti everytime I visit.
  • This is the place which established the Rishikesh. If you are religious then visting this place will always be a enchanting experience for you. Amongst all the ghats in India this seems cleanest and river water is always pure and clean throughout the year(except for 2 months of rainy season). This place is usually crowded, but visiting here in off timings i.e. after 10 PM is very relaxing and you can hear the sound of Ganga ji.
  • Ganga Aarti is organised at Triveni Ghat every evening. Several devotees had gathered to worship Mother Ganga.
  • if you guys are looking for ghats in risikesh with less crowd to be in peace than nothing gonna better than this so pure situated on banks of river ganga . feet touching water is moving great experience
