Inside the marvelously architectured temple the idol of Shri Devi Bhagwati is adorned beautifully. There are also other deity idols like 'Veer Vighnesh' & 'Ashtadashbhuj' beautiful sculptures of God Ganapati unique in their kind. During Navratri, one of the sacred festivals celebrated throught India, thousands of devotees visit the temple to celebrate the festival with much enthusiasm and vigour. A nine days yatra is conducted as a part of the festival

The temple is blessed with calm and serene ambience being situated on heighest peak inside the Ratnadurg fort sarrounded three sides by the shores of Arabian sea which provides a divine feeling to the devotees.

  • This temple is on Ratandurg. Historic fort . It is said that Kanhoji Angre built the fort. His statue is on the fort. You can take your cars uphill & only few stairs are there to climb. We walked alon...  read more »

  • The temple is very simple and yet leaves you with an unforgettable experience. The wall built around it serves also as a walkway which gives you full view of sea from three sides of temple.
