Just a short distance from the famous Ramanathawamy Temple, Hanuman Temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Hanuman, otherwise known as the Monkey God. Outside the temple are the extraordinary floating stones, that have to be seen to be believed. Legend explains these and the bridge was built by Vanara Sena built it to rescue Goddess Sita from the demon King Ravana’s capture. The priest will tell you the stories in more detail and if you want to take a floating stone home there is a shop selling these within the temple.
