  • built a 1000 years back, this fort is a unique gem. The fort overlooks the majestic central lakes area of the ranthambore tiger resort. If you have a good set of binoculars you can watch the migratory birds and may be a wild tiger. Its about 200 feet of climbing to the top where the erstwhile kings built an elaborate resort (now derelict but still has greenery). Just to remind that this is India, there is an ancient (told to be self-emergent) Ganesha temple on the far side of the fort.
  • Historic fort with a ganesh temple on top. monkeys virtually rule the fort. Be careful of your belongings. If you are really lucky, you may spot a tiger around the fort. There are many instances of Tigers from within the surrounding Ranthambore Tiger reserve frequenting the fort.
