  • built a 1000 years back, this fort is a unique gem. The fort overlooks the majestic central lakes area of the ranthambore tiger resort. If you have a good set of binoculars you can watch the migratory birds and may be a wild tiger. Its about 200 feet of climbing to the top where the erstwhile kings built an elaborate resort (now derelict but still has greenery). Just to remind that this is India, there is an ancient (told to be self-emergent) Ganesha temple on the far side of the fort.
  • This temple and fort really gives the most positive vibes required in life to enjoy life and mental peace peace of mind. Also do remember to visit Shiv temple inside fort. Its a lovely place thorough lovely drive way
  • Historic fort with a ganesh temple on top. monkeys virtually rule the fort. Be careful of your belongings. If you are really lucky, you may spot a tiger around the fort. There are many instances of Tigers from within the surrounding Ranthambore Tiger reserve frequenting the fort.
  • Good Fort. Very neat and clean. Take guide, it's necessary else you wont understand anything. Guide charge 450 Rs. Takes 2-3 hours for roundtrip.
  • Very nice and historical place to visit, can feel the royal essence of the way they lived in the fort. Please visit the Ganesha temple, which is very renowned and sacred. Lakshmi devi temple is also their to visit, entry to fort is not allowed after 6 so u need at leat 2 hrs to see all the places of fort. Take water bottles and hat along. Very beautiful birds u can spot in between ur way. Langoors and monkey u will find on the way to temple.
