  • This fort stands majestically atop a hill overlooking the entire park. The walk up, one of the only places this mode of transport is possible, is a very refreshing and exciting one as even the big cats have been spotted up there! The view of the surrounding keeps getting better and better as you go up but the view from the fort itself can only be described as breathtaking. The soaring Serpent eagles, vultures and other birds can be seen at eye level. Many animals can also be seen along the edges of all the water bodies, which are all visible from here. The fort itself also offers many interesting architectural and historical sights worth viewing and photographing. A trip to the fort is a must if you are a first time visitor to the park. A guide with a good knowledge of the fort's history would always be a good idea.
  • This is one good fort on the hill top which gives a view of tiger reserve jungle around. One can have a view of lake from the fort. There are different portions within fort depicting it's glorious history. One can observe flocks of langoors while visiting temple at the end of fort. We were luckier to spot leopard on the way to fort in our car.
  • The fort is worth a visit not only for the history which can be available online but the view and the planning of the fort is amazing. It is being built on a single mountain in 7.5 kms. As every fort it is well guarded and has 4 entry points , a watch tower, hidden gate to deceive the enemies. There are lot of no keys so beware of Food stuff . The peacocks basking in the sun is a sight not to be missed. The guides here have various stories to say about the rules but history apart it’s a wonderful drive in a canter to this fort.
  • Nice quaint fort. Good 30 min climb to top where there is a Ganesha Temple. Peppered with langur monkeys and beautiful views. Worth a visit!!
  • Don't miss this. Small trek will lead you atop. Take a guide and get to know all stories. We were fortunate to spot two bears
