  • Though it was closed for 15 days when we arrived, its heavily wooded surroundings and well manicured gardens were an eye candy for us. The couple of bronze statues sitting amidst the lush greenery, as shown in my photos, is worth noticing. This place was set up by the founder of the area in 1787. It has its own website and can be visited by those who take pleasure in exploring the real old Goa and it Portuguese decent. This villa is just like a small palace.
  • Great place .. I wondered how they maintaining structure and the stuffs
  • Nice place very heritage plus the owner's approach and hospitality makes it cherry on the cake
  • Best collection of colonial furniture within a historic grand architectural restoration. The food is exquisite and the Belvedere makes for a very special ambience. Definitely a view of Goa that is so far above beach shack, hotel restaurant that you most certainly must make the effort. Once in a lifetime pleasure of paradise.
  • This place is DEFINITELY worth a visit. Its a really beautiful house, kind people, interesting history, but the food just exceeded all expectations!!! It was so crazy good, you wo t leave hungry. you'll have to book to give them time to prepare.

Where to stay in Goa

One of the more affordable regions for staying in India, Goa offers a good range of sleeping options, from budget to luxurious. Visitors looking for that feeling of home away from home can explore rental apartments, which offer more space than a hotel room and often come with fully equipped kitchens. Look for an apartment in Oxel or Siolim, peaceful villages with gated communities and a range of facilities. Beach houses and private villas offer an alternative for those with deeper pockets, while beach huts/shacks work well for budget-conscious travelers.
