  • After a night at a nearby spice farm, we decided to stop by this spot on our way to Panjim. What a surprise! This 18th century mansion has been lovingly restored. The gardens are superb. The furnishin...  more »

  • A truly wonderful experience to visit a most impressive Portuguese house set in the country side of Quepem Goa, delicious home cooked food serve in a very beautiful historic building with exceptional service. What a delight to find such a place after visiting Goa for 20 years.
  • Though it was closed for 15 days when we arrived, its heavily wooded surroundings and well manicured gardens were an eye candy for us. The couple of bronze statues sitting amidst the lush greenery, as shown in my photos, is worth noticing. This place was set up by the founder of the area in 1787. It has its own website and can be visited by those who take pleasure in exploring the real old Goa and it Portuguese decent. This villa is just like a small palace.
  • Best collection of colonial furniture within a historic grand architectural restoration. The food is exquisite and the Belvedere makes for a very special ambience. Definitely a view of Goa that is so far above beach shack, hotel restaurant that you most certainly must make the effort. Once in a lifetime pleasure of paradise.
  • Amazing place to see, and very good host who treat you like his house guest. Last but not the least the food was out of this world
  • This place is DEFINITELY worth a visit. Its a really beautiful house, kind people, interesting history, but the food just exceeded all expectations!!! It was so crazy good, you wo t leave hungry. you'll have to book to give them time to prepare.
