  • Very good experience of trekking, some part of trekking is difficult or may be difficult for the people who don't have any experience of trekking and the people whose age is above 50 or the people who are healthy. Otherwise for youngsters, it's very cool type of trekking. And even you reach there in afternoon, it is possible to climb the form because you always under the shadow of its own. Up on the fort you will get two temples and stationary water (might be for their daily use). Very good for trekking and also for them who is trekking first time.
  • Its a great place for trekking with beautiful view of mountains and the river bank. but the way is little slippery so its better to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Also, its nicer to start early morning so that you can reach at the right time on the top to enjoy.
  • A Paradise for Trekkers. - This fort is the highest forts in Pune and has a lot of history associated to it. - A must visit for enthusiastic trekkers as Torna offers a tough trekking experience and the views from the top are breathtaking. - Winter season is the best for trekking at Torna. - Please be advised that this is a tough trek and requires good stamina to get to the top.
  • Excellent place to go trekking. The hand rails on the narrow rock patches is the greatest improvement towards safety of trekkers. But, don't eat the food on the fort. The water is used from a pond that holds all the (old) rain water.
  • It is difficult trek during mansoon. No life risk but you need to be careful at few places. It is not very long trek but little steep one. You may not get food or water on top so please carry. It is enjoyable and adventurous experience. Go for it....

Where to stay in Pune

South-east of the main train station sit most of the accommodations on offer in Pune, with the choice largely revolving around standard hotels featuring small pools and restaurants. You can find some more luxurious options in the more spread-out areas to the north of the city center, and along the rivers that flow through town. Hostels and guesthouses provide budget-friendly options, with the bulk located near the university accommodation districts, and the side streets of the older parts of town.
