  • Good place to spend a weekend. One can see tiger, leopard, elephants and other animals. Lots of green cover. The park is well maintained. I would recommend taking the electric vehicle ride to the last point and then walk back. The park is in form of two semi circles which are not connected. So the walk back if tiring for older people. I would also recommend packing a lunch or snack so that you can cover the whole zoo. Reach early and avoid carrying plastic items. PMC needs to get it's act together and stop the drainage flowing into the lake. It is surprising to see drainage water in a zoo!
  • Horrible experience. First of all there are very limited car parking. You have to wait atleast for 45 mins even on a weekdays to get a parking lot. The pain continue at ticket counter with a big queue.it took another 20 odd minutes there. It is an utter disappointment, when you go inside. Very congested place, no refreshment inside. Make sure u carry drinking water as well. We have to wait for a battery car for 45 mins. The reason given was only 2 car available out of 5. 2 battery down, one reserved for staff ( even though it s idle through out day ). We met director there as well to accommodate a vehicle as we reached there at 1pm n 1- 2 is lunch hour. But, he seems helpless n asked us to wait till 2pm. Not worth going there..
  • I had visited this place 7 yrs ago and it was good that time but recently when visited got very disappointed. No cleaning at all. Birds/Animals must be shouting loud to keep zoo clean. But looks no one there to hear about it. :(
  • Best place to enjoy the nature and get relief from work pressure. The arch of the park and welcome fountain at the entrance amused me. There are different speices of birds and animals including tortoises, snakes, crocodiles, pythons,Spain Bull, Leopord, White Tiger, deers, elephants, etc., There are funny games in the amidst of treck in the park. It is vast in area, the lake in the middle park enhanced it's Beauty. Felt pleasant atmosphere and got peace of mind by looking at the Flora&Fauna.. Must visit to the place to feel splendid..
  • Its really adventures to visit here. Its Rs 25/- entry charges and varies with your carrying objects like digital camera .(for foreigners there are extra charges) but There are so many diversities in the zoo. All the snakes Animals , its really great to see them. Must visit once place in pune. Just food stall outside the park is costly. You may refer to taste only.
