  • Several interesting animals, including the snake park area. Best place to go with kids. You will find all age group people here.Bus facility is there to roam within zoo. The tickets are priced Rs 25 for adult and Rs10 for a child. For a foreigner it's Rs 100. The park should be a great learning visit to all, old and young. Great for a day outing!
  • Good for every age group, it has animals and lot of different species of snakes where children's can find some different amazing experience. The only part which I didn't liked was walking, we have to walk a lot. If you like to walk then you can go there. They have entry ticket but it's very cheap and even they provide vehicle for old or disabled persons but I have know idea how much they charge and it will be totally based on its availability. The park is good and must go place for nature lovers.
  • The other known name for this park is snake Park. Specially in the later half, it remains really crowded. And so it makes this place very much noisy. I wish the zoo authority would do something about that. At the beginning, you can take a closer look at the reptiles reserved here. They have lots of species of them. The zoo has many species of animals and birds too. It has seating arrangements, toilet and drinking water facility. But it's advisable to take water by yourself. The zoo also has motor carts for your convenience. But for that you need to buy tickets from the counter in the zoo.
  • Nice to take kids here... however, as with all public places, even this is littered around... we often see young couples doing all sorts of things here.. need to control this.. also the animals should get a better treatment than present.. would like to see more animals here and the information display boards need to be more attractive and catchy..
  • I visited in November '17 and entry fee is 25rs and that too cash only. Do not expect much entertainment from the park. As the animals are too lazy. Place is very crowded, white tiger is too aged. Must watch deer. Very beautiful. Go and visit but expect nothing. Take care of your belongings.

Where to stay in Pune

South-east of the main train station sit most of the accommodations on offer in Pune, with the choice largely revolving around standard hotels featuring small pools and restaurants. You can find some more luxurious options in the more spread-out areas to the north of the city center, and along the rivers that flow through town. Hostels and guesthouses provide budget-friendly options, with the bulk located near the university accommodation districts, and the side streets of the older parts of town.
