  • Several interesting animals, including the snake park area. Lots of walking and space between exhibits in the main park - a bit too much. And be warned - they charged 40x the entry fee for "foreigners...  more »

  • It's a beautiful place to take your kids and introduce them to wildlife animals. Animals here are well taken care of. Also the facilities like washrooms, drinking water are in good condition. There's also eco-friendly mini buses which take 13 people around the zoo area. There's detail information board near every animal and snakes so children and even adults can know more about whatever interests them. Was a beautiful experience!!! 😊😊
  • What we had was a lovely experience and the kids loved it.. Still there are areas of improvement that i am sure the zoo department is working on. More battery operated vehicles and more animals and birds are to be added. Online group bookings will help in getting easy hassle free access to the zoo.
  • A great place for family and especially kids outing. Information boards beside every animal is sure to stir your child's interest in wildlife. The eco-friendly mini buses going around the zoo area is fun experience as well. Also the hygiene of washrooms is a plus.
  • We visit during summer. Not a ideal time to visit as it is a big place. You can get a electric car for inside to cover most of the cage of the zoo. General animals are there nothing fancy. Good collection of snake though.
  • Spacious park so you'll need lot of energy to see whole area. Or one can also take the electric buses. Though the bus is not recommended. Good thing is that drinking water is available every now and then:-). Variety of species is quite vast. Highly recommended.

Where to stay in Pune

South-east of the main train station sit most of the accommodations on offer in Pune, with the choice largely revolving around standard hotels featuring small pools and restaurants. You can find some more luxurious options in the more spread-out areas to the north of the city center, and along the rivers that flow through town. Hostels and guesthouses provide budget-friendly options, with the bulk located near the university accommodation districts, and the side streets of the older parts of town.
