Narayani Dham Temple, Pune
(4.6/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
A large elegant white marble building just off the Mumbai-Pune expressway, Narayani Dham Temple provides the peace and serenity of a spiritual haven. Devoted to three deities—Narayani (the main one), Ganesh and Hanuman—the temple has three shrines with different idols, beautifully decorated. On the temple premises, you can also get food (tasting divine and served with joy, worth arriving before 11 am to buy lunch coupons) and accommodation (phone to book). Clean and extremely well-maintained, the temple offers restrooms and drinking water facilities. It also has ample parking space. Your kids will love the cow shed where they can feed and pet the cows. • Very beautiful place..its near the wax museum and Neeta Inn. The temple is calm and beautifully decorated and spread out in vast land. The goushala is also decorated . Best time to go would be late evening as evening its all lighted up . They have arrangements for stay..weekdays the rate is less around 1000 and weekend its around 1800. There is meal facility separately. In between you may get tea/coffee where 1 cup is good for 2 ..its good quantity. You can locate the post very easily from the Pune Mumbai express way
  • Giving trading only for the temple. Did not stay here. Temple is marvellous. Fascinating.I have been there twice. It is an excellent place to visit.
  • Beautiful temple. A must visit place when you are in lonavala. The environment is so serene and peaceful. It also has staying facilities with 60 double bed rooms and 4 cottages at a very reasonable price. One can also have delicious breakfast, Lunch and Dinner here.
  • Nice marble temple; not very large but spacious enough for about 200 or so devotees at any point in time. Feels serene because of the quiet surroundings. Reasonably good accommodation for travellers. (Don't expect five-star comfort because that's not why this place was built). You need to book accommodation 45 days in advance. A two-night stay should be just right, considering darshan, aarti as well as relaxation. Avoid weekends if you are a peace-loving person. Tea/coffee and snacks (buffet) in the morning, lunch (buffet), just tea/coffee in the evening and buffet dinner - all of this is available only at fixed times. Need to pay for and collect lunch/dinner as well as tea/coffee coupons well in advance. Food is prepared based on coupons issued. There is no room service. Outside food is not allowed in the dining hall. Stock up biscuits or dry snacks for in-between bites as there is absolutely no shop/store in the vicinity (as of June 2016). Why did I not give five stars? I leave it for you to discover!
  • Wonderful place to stay at Lonavala. It has 60 double bed rooms and 4 cottages available at a very reasonable price. Food, cleanliness and hospitality is excellent. A memorable experience for my entire group
