Wandoor Beach, Port Blair
(4/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Stroll on the picturesque, tropical shore of Wandoor Beach, replete with white sands, blue seas, and unique wildlife. Go for a swim, then relax and observe the striking vistas of distant islands scattered across the wide sea. Snap a few photos of the bizarre form of the uprooted tree on the beach, and keep your eyes peeled for the various animal life around the beach, including the colorful Nicobar pigeon, only found on this group of islands. Palms and other trees offer some shade, and small stalls sell souvenirs. Wandoor Beach is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our custom trip planner, Port Blair Edition.

The beach has a good parking spot as well. It is very well maintained and there are benches on the shore, where you can relax. ) There are lifeguards too, who will be watching over the swimmers. And The different view of the beach, and will offer good spot for viewing sunset. "While in water, do not panic if you step on a sea cucumber." "They are harmless!"
  • It is a rocky sea beach under the sand. One should be very careful while going in the sea water. No sitting arrangement on the beach. Sea is nice here. One should not miss Rubber plantation and cinaman plants in the near village.
