  • Chidiya Tapu is a bird sanctuary in the Andamans. There is a mangrove forest and the wild scenic beauty of the place is indeed a feast for the eyes. This place is a paradise for bird watchers. The sunset is very beautiful. The destructive actions of the 2004 tsunami can be partly seen here. Huge uprooted tree trunks will give an idea how disastrous the tsunami was. There was no provision for a washroom anywhere nearby even for the ladies when we visited this place in 2013. There are big boards warning the tourists against crocodiles.
  • Scenic, safe beach, changing rooms available, and best of all normal water available to take bath for free after getting into beach, on the way back do visit the chai shop for best chai experience
  • Chidiya Tapu is famous as the den of Birds. Birds are singing from the trees on the sea beach side. Water in the sea here very clear and cristal. You can see the beautiful sun set from the beach, You can collect lot of sea shells from the long beach side. It is really a nice place to see.
  • Nice beach and Magnificent view. You can go to the tip through trails and can get the best view.
