  • A calm and serene place to visit the Ashram which was inhabited by Aurobindo and Mother. It is an experience to be done through self-introspection like a celebration with(/within) yourself and not outside by being loud or talking to others. (NOTE: Kindly switch off your phones and avoid discussing with others while entering the Ashram) There is a book store with different books written by Aurobindo and Mother as well as the compilations available in different languages for avid readers. Have enjoyed numerous visits and enjoyed the Synchronicity of events which have played in my life linked with Sri Aurobindo Ashram. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who like peace and serenity.
  • A place where Maharshi Aurobindo and Mother spent most of their life. You feel the divinity here. Sit here in meditation for some time and you are sure to be filled up with immense positivity
  • This place is very famous, especially foreigners (USA, UK etc.) Visit this place more. This ashram is very silent and its good place to get peace of mind. The sea shore is nearby to this ashram. This ashram people also sell some hand made stuff like agarbathies and aroma candles and much more. You can buy them at a separate store nearby to this ashram(walkable distance). The sea shore near this is also very nice and attractive. Cars are allowed to seashore road but are not allowed to stay on sea shore road after 6:00 PM.
  • Ashram where Sri Aurobindo stayed, and developed a method of spiritual practice he called Integral Yoga. His Samadhi place is here, Visitors are required to observe strict silence in the Ashram premises. Book stall has collection of his literary works in all languages.
  • Divine place yet has nothing worth a hype. It's ashram which preserves swamy's memories...
