  • STAFFS ARE NOT WITH ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE THINGS ARE SPECIMENS KEPT THERE, THE OLDEST THING I FOUND INSIDE THE MUSEUM IS 11TH CENTURY LORD VINAYAGAR STATUE. AND THE OLDEST THING AT THE OUTSIDE IS 20 MILLION YEAR OLD STONE TREE. THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION ABOUT THE SWORDS DISPLAYED THERE, IF U R INTERESTED IN HISTORY EVEN A FULL DAY IS NOT ENOUGH TO VISIT IT, STAFF ARE KEEP ON WORRYING ABOUT EXTRA WORKING HOURS WITHOUT WAGES ESPECIALLY ABOUT NOT GIVEN LEAVE ON GOVERNMENT HOLIDAYS.
  • A lot of relics from all over Pondy and nearby archaeological sites. However, there is not really a clear story or walk through the museum, making most stuff they hold just a bunch of old dusty art.
  • It's a small museum (but seems like a Neverending labyrinth) which showcases the multi culture of Pondicherry. There are many idols, rock specimens, antique furniture, etc. on display. The only thing I didn't like was that there is absolutely no photography allowed inside the building, but is allowed in the outer premises. Most of the staff are courteous.
  • Museum is in a home and not in a museum. Simple place and neglected to give importance by concern dept. Museum has to be build newly at high ceiling and new project has to be initiated...
  • Very small museum with few artifacts. Can visit if you have a lot of time to spend in the city.
