Garden Nature / Park
Feel the peace and enjoyment of a maharaja at Pinjore Gardens, a large Mughal-style complex of gardens in the foothills of the Himalayas near Chandigarh. Built in the 17th century, these gently sloping gardens were laid in seven terraces feature a variety of fountains and canals. Elegant pavilions amidst mango, lychee and sapota trees surround the complex. This is a great spot to visit for families and many people come to have a picnic here. A number of eating joints provide food on the spot. Get some food from the stalls during the fruit season. Camel rides are available outside the garden. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Pinjore holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Pinjore Gardens and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • One of the best resort in Chandigarh. Absolutely loved it. Thw staff is friendly and the food is good. The beautiful garden and the fountains are just mystical during the sunset.
  • Peace full area and good restaurant inside with very economical rates. A must visit Garden. Amazing to see thousands of bats on tree in daylight.
  • Excellent place for family or couple outings. Loveable place for every age. In summers visit only in evening. Most suitable time Oct to March. Very clean, beautiful & photogenic peaceful place.
  • Great place, very well maintained. Ticket cost is Rs20 for person above 3 year age. Won't recommend visiting in summer and on a sunny day.
