Pinjore Gardens, Pinjore

Feel the peace and enjoyment of a maharaja at Pinjore Gardens, a large Mughal-style complex of gardens in the foothills of the Himalayas near Chandigarh. Built in the 17th century, these gently sloping gardens were laid in seven terraces feature a variety of fountains and canals. Elegant pavilions amidst mango, lychee and sapota trees surround the complex. This is a great spot to visit for families and many people come to have a picnic here. A number of eating joints provide food on the spot. Get some food from the stalls during the fruit season. Camel rides are available outside the garden. • Great place for a family outing. Just adjoining the garden there are options for fun games and car racing etc. also. I liked the garden a lot because of land scape and variety of flowers and plants. Beat time to visit is spring season. Not very far from Chandigarh so one can stay in Chandigarh and go for one day picnic.
  • This place has it's own goodness. A perfect place for family visits or with a partner. This is a beautiful garden that also contains a restaurant and a bar (Haryana tourism) for refreshing the people who visit here. Some new engaged couples also visit here for their portraits ( with self hired photographers ) normally , one can spend maximum 3 hours here. Entry per head - 25/- Do visit. ❤️
  • Great place to visit and well maintain too, but the only one complaint from the management is they charge Rs.25/- per person to visit the place and as per my observation most of the visitors are a tourist, there is a toilet available inside the garden but not maintain and clean. As they are charging fees for visiting the place then they should need to provide such basic need to the visitors. My overall experience was good. Rest you can see in photos and videos. Thanks,
  • Nice place to hang around with your family, friends or partner but its not like that place where u can hang around for more than 1.5 hours.... Nice place to have a photoshoot and easily accessible by any mode of transportation very less entry fee of just rs 25/- and parking space is huge and well managed u will get large amount of food and local vendors around but they r too costly
  • A very silent and serene place. Some pretty buildings inside. People use this location for the couple photo shoots or any photo shoots. They fountains are off mostly. I am not sure if water fountains have timings. Outside and opposite to the garden there are also some small activities for kids and few snack shops and also art n craft shops
