  • This is an awesome place! Don’t miss if you’re in Pelling. There is a short hike through the bird forest to reach the ruins. And the view from the ruins is stunning. The Himalayan peaks and the ruins make a very vibratory photo combination. Place is really well maintained.
  • I loved this place. The area was well maintained and the view of the mountains was just amazing.
  • Rabdentse Ruins – a popular tourist attraction in Pelling. The sight is of national importance, as announced by Archeological Survey of India. Chadok Namgyal established it in 1670 post shifting his capital from Yuksom. All of Chadok’s establishments in the city were destroyed by Gurkha army, only the chortens and the ruins were left behind. The scenic view from the top of the ruins scanning across deep valley to the mystic heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something to be cherished and etched in memory. Here one can visualize the remains of a once flourishing colony around the palace which was constructed after the consecration of Chogyal Phuntshog Namgyal in the 1641 AD.
  • Rabdentse is the 19century palces when sikkim ruling by chogyal dinisty between 16-19century but today 2017 this palce is valueless and Legal place ...were we do everything like smoked weed, drunk, party, picnic and personal activity with our copule.
