Kanchenjunga Falls, Pelling

4.2
#1 of 9 in Things to do in Pelling
Conveniently located next to the road for easy access, Kanchenjunga Falls pour off a cliff and tumble into a pool below. Take your swimming gear if you want to go swimming in the pool beneath the falls, which is safe enough to swim in, but still requires some caution. Due to its no-hassle access, this attraction is usually quite crowded, but does offer convenient features like food stalls. Less able-bodied visitors might struggle with the steep stairs. • These falls are quite good. You have to climb some steps to reach the actual falls. Its not that big but the follow and view is quite good.
  • Beautiful place. must visit if you are in this part of Sikkim. Definitely try out the traversing over the smaller falls. if you go near the bigger falls, the spray of water and the volume will definitely mesmerize you. make sure you wear good boots if you plan to go directly beside the falls. locals would say it is risky and it is. but a must try if you have the adventure within you.
  • A place to enjoy the beauty of nature at its extream. Entry fees of Rs.10 is really worthy. Be up to the point, through few stairs, where the water falls on ground and enjoy the breeze of very small water particles..
  • Nice waterfalls! A great place to pass some time. Falls and site scenes are tremendous..
  • One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sikkim. But owing to its gaining popularity, the place is gradually losing its elegance. However, this is still great place as a sight seeing point from Pelling, especially after the monsoon.
