  • Patiala City is known for its historical background and Qila Mubarak also plays a role in it. During visit historical background of the place will be reviled. 
  • Entry fee Rs 10 in some times of the year, some times its free, in the center of city. Piece of architectural beauty 
  • Its an historical fort in patiala, its situated in market area, visiters can reach there by auto rickshaw, or park their car near to fort area in the market. Its under maintenance. 
  • Quila Mubarak a Historical National Monument and the oldest part of Patiala. It is one of the prominent tourist attractions of City was Built in 1764 by Maharaja Ala Singh. A huge part of the fort was changed into a heritage museum displaying Weapons, Paintaings, Chandeliers & Vehicles used by the then Royal family. The Quila Complex includes several buildings, namely the Ran Basa, Quila Androon, Darbar Hall, Sard Khana, Jalau Khana, Quila Mubarak Gateway and the boundary walls. Due to negligence Quila buildings loosing its meaning for the Visitors. Now due to renovation work most of the area is restricted to enter except the museum. which will be comleted by August 2016.
  • Nice place to visit. Nice musium of guns & old cars & swords much more to see. Now a days it is close due to maintance. So you can only visit musium.

  • Visit during any festivals.. that time guides are available and do watch the museum they have unique guns to show.
  • Well, always get a guide to explore deep interiors, you may get lost :)
