Observe the sophisticated architecture at Fontainhas, where old European style blends with a distinctly Indian ambience. Explore the neighborhood's winding alleyways lined with tile-roof houses in blue and red, which bring the city's Portuguese past to life. Not only does the architectural design put the site on the map, but also its natural surroundings, with the creek of Ourem running at the east, and Altinho Hill on the west. Other cultural attractions include a 400-year-old chapel, a World Heritage-listed basilica, and a beach. Use our Goa vacation builder to visit Fontainhas on your trip to Goa, and learn what else travelers and our writers recommend seeing nearby.
