Table Land, Panchgani

(4/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
Aptly named for its appearance, Table Land stands out as Asia's second longest mountain plateau of laterite rock. As part of the Deccan Plateau, this formation was created when raised by pressure between earth plates, and unsurprisingly, that means the area experiences a lot of seismic activity. A few of the activities available here include parasailing, nature watching, and horseback riding. Try to visit in the early morning or in the evening to avoid the massive crowds of tourists that go for the afternoon. Make Table Land part of your personalized Panchgani itinerary using our Panchgani trip generator.
