  • Pretty quiet place ***Plastic is not allowed up*** Please take care to avoid littering You have about a 4km trek on a stone laid winding path to get to the waterfall. For the adventurous ones, there are plenty of 'shortcuts', ie, ways to climb up over slopes through trodden paths. These are not marked, they were formed by climbing. Before the major climb, there is a small stream passing through. You can freshen up and feel the cool water here. The falls are small. Don't expect much. But it will be quiet and refreshing. You can get yourself wet above the falls but they won't let you under the falls which they used to do before. Plenty of birds to see. You may chance upon elephants on the trek up. Good place for a weekend getaway to escape from the heat of the city.
  • It is an ideal place to relax and take a break from your busy schedule. The waterfalls is 4.5 km from the base of the hill and is definitely worth the 1 hour trek uphill. The water is ice cold and the place is well maintained. They check your bags for plastic and make sure that you don't litter the place. Make sure that you have good footwear before you start the trek.
  • 4-5 km trekking sure does make you feel exhausted. But a dip in the calm and cool waters at the top will surely soothe you. Would be good if you pack some snacks along with you. Only scary part was that the forest guard who was with us, showed the footprint of a tiger/leopard on the way to the top. Anyways, best in Palakkad among the list of places to visit in a day.
  • Calm place.. A walk of 5 km through forest and you are at the waterfall.. Entry fees 100 Rs per person.. Plastic not allowed... You have to sign an undertaking at the entrance that you know about the risks associated with forest... Happy journey!!!!!
  • This place is good for people who love to walk through green forests. Waterfall is not much beautiful, but walking through the forest is good.. Hat's of to forest officers here.. They do not allow you to go with plastic carry bags. And can't throw plastic bottles, u have to show the water bottles when u come back. Go greeen.. Conserve nature 🌿
