Where to stay in Ooty (Udhagamandalam)

An established tourism destination, Ooty and the countryside that surrounds the hill station offer plenty in the way of accommodations. Most major Indian hotel chains have opened up shop in town and lie dotted around the hilly terrain by the main roads, the more salubrious among them enjoying a little more space and better views of the surrounding area. • If u ignore the crowd then this is a place worth visiting. Entry will be 40per person and 50 for camera. You can find almost every plan and trees which are grown in India. Good for kids. Reach till the top of the garden and you will enjoy the view and the cold climate.
  • Most amazing... you will fall in love with plants, trees, flowers. .. nature kept by humans at its best.... undulating hill setting. ... each step is a treat to your eyes. .. 95% is great. Only one sore point, was the Japanese Garden... it has no element of Japanese culture or plant / tree / flower. ... curator has made a mistake
  • I totally loved the place. With an idea of spending about twenty minutes, I left after two hours of breathing fresh oxygen. But the only drastic disappointment is no parking facilities provided by the tourism, some private agency started their own faculty though charging ₹80 per car and an inconvenient area. The garden is wide spread over an area with lustrous green surroundings. Quite recommended for photo shoots and a walk over the entire garden.
  • A huge and beautiful garden full of lush greenery having different kinds and rear pieces of floras. It was super crowded when we entered this park. Getting tickets and entering into the garden was itself a task in itself. However inside, the landscaped lawns and the whole ambiance of the place was very good. Definitely worth visiting for a couple of hours tour.
  • Heaven on earth. Visit early in the morning. Fare is ok. But restrictions on going to some places like lawns and tree houses. Only two washrooms that too not clean. Its very less to such a big garden. Careful while taking kids with you. Tibetan market right outside the main gate. And you can buy chocolates from the shops beside this main gate.
