  • The Vishwa Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist temple very recently. Is located in Delhi in Indiraprastha Park and is part of a series of "pagodas of peace" built on the inspiration of a Japanese Buddhist monk in various parts of the world to promote non-violence. I had already seen a similar one in Wardha, where I was to work and all look alike. However it is a peaceful place that is pleasant to visit.

  • Vishwa Shanti Stupa was Inaugurated on November 14, 2007 with hopes of cultivating long-lasting peace and become a popular tourist destination particularly due to its proximity to famous tourist attractions like Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab Minar. One should just go there in order to absorb peace and feeling. It seems very beautiful in night lighting .
