  • An excellent place to spend your day, not too crowded too. This place actually has 3 museums combined into one. My favourite was Teracotta followed by Textile. Worth visiting.  more »

  • Beautiful green, open place with lovely art around. Great place for a picnic, or to spend a day learning pottery , or just browsing the museum. Great for a relaxed day of reading, writing and catching up with friends. Has a decent open air cafe on its premise which serves good tea and sandwiches . Look out for specific events like the Studio Potters Market or numerous art workshops and that will make it worth your while to visit this slightly out-of-the-way space
  • This is a beautiful place. You can experience the nature, positivity and serenity of this place. I saw few very beautiful birds when I first went there. My second visit was really memorable. There was a Ceramic fest going on and I got to see really nice stuff made by different Artisans. It was so nice that I couldn't resist buying things and I got them in reasonable price.
  • Oh.. left my heart here. Such a peaceful and beautiful place. Large then life size sculptures, ancient lifestyle museum, textile museum, clay and terracotta museum and that smell of mud during rainy season took my heart away. Cafe here serves good food. Regular workshop for pottery, embroidery, diying etc. A pond full of beautiful lotus is another attraction, though one can only see buds during day.
  • Fantastic textile collection of beautiful old pieces. Good back story on the dyes and methods for weaving. Also other collections.. review the site. This is a private collection in a very calm and pretty multi building site with ipen grounds to wander. Allow time for the drive, its in the outskirts from other major attractions.
  • A great place to see Terracotta collection. There are two more small meseums showing brass and textiles which are also worth a visit. You can visit the pottery section to see people learning on the potters wheel. One thing which was really missed was a Cafe, I wish they start a regular cafe open all days.
