Paharganj, New Delhi
(2/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
Noisy and chaotic, Paharganj is a busy neighborhood in Central Delhi filled with shops, push carts, street stalls, and rickshaws. Right across the road from the New Delhi Railway Station, this vibrant district stretches for about a 1 km (0.6 mi) and draws shopper with its clothes, bags, shoes, books, music, and handicrafts sold at bargain prices. Lose yourself in the multitude of colors and people, but keep an eye on your belongings, as some tourists occasionally report instances of petty theft.
