Where to stay in New Delhi

New Delhi contains some of India's finest and most popular hotels, catering to business travelers and well-heeled tourists. For budget accommodations, consider the neighborhood of Paharganj, just west of the New Delhi railway station. Noisy and packed with peddlers of every kind, the area offers some of the least expensive rooms located relatively near major attractions. Guesthouses serve as the city's best mid-range option, with new ones constantly springing up to satisfy the growing number of visitors. Always call or visit the website in advance to check on prices and amenities included.

  • Justice is done being a national philately museum. Philatelists will definitely love this place. Lots on info and service from the staffs are to the best. Kids and Youngsters must visit.
  • Good exhibition, especially the corner where all postage stamps issues post independence are displayed chronologically. The security staff lacks professionalism. Found sleeping on duty.
  • It is one of its own kind of museum found near Patel chowk metro station.. must visit place at least once..
  • It has a mind-blowing collection of Indian postal stamps right from the British Rule in India till present. It also showcases how Indian Post developed over more than 100 years. A must visit place for everyone, especially students, teachers and scholars.
  • One can see the evolution of stamps in India at this place. It 2 minutes walk from Patel Chowk (Metro Museum).
