Mughal Garden, New Delhi

4.5
#5 of 23 in Parks in New Delhi
Garden Nature / Park
Displaying Persian-style architecture, Mughal Garden was built by the Mughals and displays water features and open, rectangular spaces. Running water plays an important part in the park's design, shown in pools, fountains, and canals. A variety of trees and flowers bloom along stone walkways, but guards do not usually let people sit and loiter. The park is not always open to the public, so check the schedule before your visit. Also, try arriving early to avoid long lines at the entrance. Put Mughal Garden into our New Delhi trip builder and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

New Delhi contains some of India's finest and most popular hotels, catering to business travelers and well-heeled tourists. For budget accommodations, consider the neighborhood of Paharganj, just west of the New Delhi railway station. Noisy and packed with peddlers of every kind, the area offers some of the least expensive rooms located relatively near major attractions. • Its only open for small time for common citizen. Best place for flower lover. Many flower. Which you ever not seen in you whole life. The best was the musical spring. A good place for picnic. And really i enjoyed there if you are making plain to go. Then don't plain too much just go there and have fun
  • A king of garden in India. It open for public in February-March. No camera, eatable allowed inside. You will be frisked properly then you will be allowed to enter. A huge number of flowers can be find there. You will love to see, you must visit if you are nature and flowers lover.
  • Nice visit for botanical point of view. But due to limited period(1 month probably) of time opening, too much rush all over the place. Keep your kids safe by always holding their hands. Do not buy fertilizer from there if you had to travel by metro, since carrying fertilizer in metro is not allowed.
  • Very nice place full of flowers. Each and every type of flowers are planted in this garden. Even non-nature lover will love this place. Its specially for president of india as its situated in the president house. But its also open for normal people in march. One time watch. Dont go on Sunday due to heavy rush. There is also dancing fountain I love this place.
  • Very well kept and beautiful flowers. Interesting and insightful to see the various types of flora in one place. Lots of herbs and other interesting plants on display too. Educative place and well maintained too. Of course the security level is very very high.... But worth visiting.
