Ultimate serene and green experience in the heart of South Delhi. Has a lake and a few monuments. Great for both morning and evening walk. It's very clean and well maintained. Even great for family picnic.
Beautifully landscaped and well laid out with small water bodies, fountains, different species of trees and flowers. The garden is at its best during the months of February and March, when winter flowers are in full bloom. However, the main attractions are the ancient monuments "The Muhammad Shah’s Tomb, Bara Gumbad and Masjid, Sheesh Gumbad, Sikandar Lodi’s Tomb and Athpula.
It is one of the most amazing places of Delhi, full of greenery and dotted with ruins. Instantly refreshing. I love it every time I go there. And very centrally located, too, so easy to reach.
The garden is extremely well maintained which is a wonderful for bird lovers, photographers and nature lover. Though the garden is a hub for birds and plants it is usually crowded in the evenings. But above all its a great place away from the hustle bustle of the city.
