  • Nice place for buying items in bulk. Very nice variety of street food. Nice showrooms for ethnic Indian clothing are also present. Better to visit in winters or spring season. Don't go there during lunch hours. Won't find parking. Take a metro. Very convenient.
  • Pl take a driver along or go in a cab . . . Gr8 place . . But parking woes toooo pronounced . . Esp on weekends . . . Good place for clothes. Shoes . Upholstry . Etc. Do Chek out the Diwan Saheb 2nds outlet for good ethnic wear at gr8 discounts
  • It is one of the biggest market of delhi. It is good for street shopping and there are almost every showroom for shopping. It is also famous for shopping for marriages as there are many stores which provide good jewellery stuff. There are few problems also and one of them is parking. This market is too crowded and it takes hours to enter and exit from this market.
  • The original flea market of Delhi! I am trying my darndest. I am giving it as much as I can, but for the life of me I can't think of single thing that I won't be able to purchase in this market. From bridal lehengas that will cost you an arm and a leg (the same lehenga might have costed you 2 arms and 2 legs!!!) to a singlet for as low as Rs 75/- if you know how to bargain well. If you ever decide to go there, do give the 'Matter Kulcha' next to the Gurudwara Park. It is to die for.
  • You think it, you name it, you need it ,YES ! All your requirements can be met at the central market. Though I am not very familiar with the market but every time I need something I am able to source it with the help of friends or just by looking around or asking people in the market. From my garbage bags to all other household requirements i get it all in central market. I never miss the matra chola vendor sitting in the small park. The moong dal laddoo person sitting just at the entrance of the market has to die for pain puri. Currently the market is suffering the aftermath of construction taking place . Parking is difficult to get. At any time the market is super crowded. People living around ashram chowk cannot do without the central market so it has to be modified
