  • Indian air force Museum in Delhi is nice place to visit with kids. You can see all type of aircraft and helicopters with their details used in wars. Few of them were used in world war. There is a souvenir shop too. We visited on Sunday which is busy day for museum. Parking area is not maintained. Entry to museum is free. You can see Pakistani fighter planes, tanks and vehicles which were shot by Indian forces. It's extremely well maintained area. You will also get chance to see the heroes of the Indian defense services....!!
  • The Museum entrance features an indoor display gallery that contains historic photographs, memorabilia, uniforms and personal weapons of theĀ Indian Air Force from its inception in 1932. The gallery leads to a hangar exhibiting small aircraft and Air Force inventory including anti-aircraft guns, vehicles and ordnance. Larger aircraft are exhibited outside the hangar. This outdoor gallery contains aircraft that also displays several war trophies, radar equipment and captured enemy vehicles. The Vintage Aircraft Flight services some rare aircraft and maintains them in an airworthy condition. These aircraft are not open to the general public. Large transport aircraft are stored on the apron of the airbase due to lack of space. These aircraft are displayed only on the annual Air Force Day. The museum has a small souvenirs shop.

  • Nice place for a visit. They could improve by giving children cockpit experience and improving the token merchandise quality. (Preferably made in India.)
