Architectural Building
Marvel at one of the nation's most renowned mausoleums at Humayun's Tomb, a World Heritage Site displaying a fusion of both Mughal and Persian architectural features. Built in 1565 on orders from Akbar, the son of the Emperor Humayun, the mausoleum represents the first in a long line of "garden-tombs" that defined Mughal architecture over the following centuries. You can admire the intricate red sandstone and white marble construction, topped with an impressive dome, as you wander the extensive grounds dotted with shrines and monuments. Enter the memorial to get a glimpse of Humayun's final resting place. Many of the architectural designs used on the tomb and its surrounding buildings helped to inspire the Taj Mahal. • Nice historical monuments. Good to unwind and hangout. Good for photography. No good facilities of eating and water inside. Restrooms to far from the main buildings. Tripod not allowed for photography. Green and beautiful. Take your own food and water with you.

  • A good place to relax for whole day. One can sit in the garden admiring the beauty of monument for whoke long day. Ambient is very soothing and the sweet chirping of birds makes it a must visit in Delhi. Good for group of friends to hangout in the afternoon.
  • It is far more better than Red Fort. The footfall is less making it peaceful. Ticket for Indians cost Rs. 30/- The garden is really beautiful. JLN Stadium is the nearest Metro station.
  • One of the most visit tourist places in Delhi. The majestic and perfectly symmetrical architecture of the place is enough to mesmerize you. It is easily accessible from various parts of the city and included in the Delhi tour packages. Those who have time can sit and relax at one of the several benches around the monument.
