Gali Paranthe Wali, New Delhi

(2.8/5 based on 170+ reviews on the web)
Enter a parantha paradise at Gali Paranthe Wali, a narrow street lined with eateries selling the famous North Indian flatbread dish. As you wander down the street, taste crispy deep-fried paranthas with curries, chutneys, pickles, subzi, all sorts of salads, and an array of sauces. The food here is strictly vegetarian, but features plenty of fillings to choose from. Watch the cooks chop and fry as you eat, then wash your meal down with some "lassi," a yoghurt-based drink that helps neutralize the spiciness of the food. Put Gali Paranthe Wali into our New Delhi family vacation planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in New Delhi.

  • If you are on a diet control then let that be a pass for day, and let your taste buds enjoy once you visit here, It's amazing to know the kind of variety it offers.

  • This place has its historical value and famous as well but now in sixth generation they lost the taste of there Paratha. The forget the Indian value of "Atithi Devo Bhava"
  • Real purani dilli ke parathe wala...
  • Loved the paranthas served at this place. They have got a great and new variety of parathas. Banana, dates, sugar etc parathas which are kinda unheard of are served there. Though the place is small, it's worth the visit and time!
  • A very very very old shop. It may be in a clumsy space and not that clean but it does deliver with the taste of parantha. You seat their eating parantha around which our history exists.
  • Second meal on first day in New Delhi India Good food very reasonable... good intro to street food ... If you are from UK don't drink water .. Take bottled with you
