  • Interesting place. Construction of the 14 century. Massive and almost without decoration. Preserved, surprisingly, very good. Firoz Shah Tughlaq was Turkic ruler. Zealous Muslim. During his reign it was destroyed many Hindu temples. In contrast to the rulers of the Mughal dynasty, these rulers made no attempt to save culture and unite the country.

  • The tomb of Firoz Shah is located in Hauz Khas. Like other tombs Tughlaq is squared off and covered with a dome. Also the choice of materials is not glitzy like those following dynasties. Inside over the tomb of Firoz there are three more. See when visiting the complex mostly for its historical value.

  • This place is not worth visiting as there is no proper maintenance is done here. Monument and surrounding garden are nice.
