  • I was there on 1 Nov 2017 for a T20 game between India and New Zealand. Sitting Capacity of 42000. And if it is housefull you will see a great electrifying atmosphere over there.  more »
  • One of my friend's relative works in the committee of stadium, so we got the chance to see it for the first time and as soon as we entered, we were surpirsed to see a huge ground surrounded with seats...  more »
  • It's really a shame.Delhi deserves a better stadium and at a better location. Food and snacks available were of poor quality and overpriced. Burger patty were served cold in winter. One glass water pr...  more »

  • Good. Nice ground. Nice view from front seats. Poor toilet facilities, limited Food items available. Pillars of Ground and 1st floor stands hides most of the view. One should reach before time if want to enjoy a match at low priced tickets. Good for people buying lounge and VIP stand tickets
  • It is the only world class cricket stadium in Delhi. Stadium is old, recently renovated, but still missing facilities on par with other stadiums in India. Nothing edible is allowed inside and the water bottle worth ₹15 costs ₹100 inside, rest you can imagine for other state of affairs. Watching 50 overs and Test matches can be torturous. Best option is to watch T20 match and get out within couple of hours.
  • One of the very good grounds in India for Cricket. Good facilities at the ground. Nets are located outside the ground. Good flood lights but they are low. Good dressing rooms both for the players and umpires. However the stands can be better maintained. There is a lot of history to this ground. Good and bad. Good - a lot of records happened at this ground, including Anil Kumble's 10 wickets in an innings. Bad - some controversies on the pitch including a match being abandoned due to a dangerous pitch and pollution amongst others.
  • Good place to visit but the things are very expensive inside the stadium and no parking area. There are 18 Gates.. water is available...highly traffic Area...high security if you go for any match reach 1 or 1 half hour before the match start if you want seat
  • I witnessed a wonderful match of India with New Zealand. It was established in 1883 and is the second oldest international cricket stadium still functional in India. The first Test match at this venue was played on 10 November 1948 when India took on the West Indies. Indian cricket team have won 10 test matches here till date out of 18 test matches.
