  • Nicely managed stadium. Maybe smaller than many other international stadiums. Visited earlier then visited recently once for an IPL match.  more »
  • We have watched IPL in this stadium. Seating capacity is 48000. If you want best view of ground you seat in ground floor in front seat. If you seating in 3rd floor you can't identify players.  more »
  • Went to watch an IPL match this season with my 10 year old son...had booked the seats in North West 1st Floor stand via BMS in advance. It was an awesome experience...the entry was smooth and for our ...  more »

  • Water of 20rs sold at Rs 80-100 that too not chilled or cold. Ice Cream at 4X rates, Thumbs up at 5X rates. Seats are broken, And Dirty. The management is just concerned how to make more money from the stadium. If you're average earning guy, Stay at home and enjoy the cricket, Absolutely waste if you're choosing the affordable options. They allow more people than there is space. What happens is, The people sitting close to gate won't be able to enjoy the match. If you're going for the match, Go to extreme left or right and get the seats. Don't sit near entry.
  • Delhi cricket stadium is a great outing to learn a little bit about cricket! I would recommend eating before as for westerners there are limited food options available (that are packaged.) In addition, there's no alcohol and limited drink options available. They're also usually just poured into cups instead of bottled beverages, so be careful on what you eat.
  • DO NOT carry the following items - 1. Coins (only currency notes allowed inside) 2. Mobile phone headsets 3. Water Bottles 4. Cigarettes & lighters These items would be taken away & you will NOT get them back. So keep them back in your car before you enter. Best way to get in & come out unscathed is to go empty handed. For drinking water, there are running water taps (yes, exactly that) inside, where you can quench your thirst. Otherwise, be prepared to shell out 3X, 4X or even 5X more for a drink (paper glass). Same goes for any snack or any other food.
  • Excellent place to watch matches. Costly food. Long queues. People sit in stairs and have less civic sense of behaving properly. Seats in stands are first come first serve basis and people coming late fight for seats towards the front. Why not come early? The food at the Corporate Boxes is pathetic. The pasta, and the salads are stale and you find it hard to get your choice of meals.
  • Vip box.. Some place where you aren't even a normal person.. No thrill and noise of a stadium experience.. Not so chilly air conditioning.. Since we didn't have the food coupons.. We were allowed to starve.. Not even water.. But watching experience was awesome.. Barring a pillar in the middle of line of sight!
