Laxmanpur Beach, Neil Island

4.6
#2 of 6 in Things to do in Neil Island
Enjoy a beautiful, white sand beach full of shells and corals as you stroll the long coastline with scenic views upon the sea at Laxmanpur Beach. This beach is renowned for the impressive sunsets and sunrises, as well as its sheer size in which you can find solitude and peace of mind in even the most crowded periods of day. Stay at several nearby hotels and shop in the stores selling shell jewelry and items made of coral. Swimming is not recommended as the sea floor is full of corals and shells that can hurt your feet, and after a certain distance the beach has a sudden depth. • One of the amazing breaches of the Andaman islands. One thing to notice though during high tide force of the waves are very high so avoid this beach during this time. During low tide you can enjoy the beach as very few people visit this beach. There are some stalls from which you can have a quick bite. If you booked the room on Pearl park beach resort then this beach is few moments away from you.
  • The beach is to be seen during afternoon time during low tide . There are local guide available who charge Rs 150 -200 . The guide takes u through a Coral work and you can see various fishes , Coral , Sea Shells, flowers , sea animals etc... with beautiful natural views . Please wear Crocs because you have to walk on rocky Corals . There is a natural bridge which is named as Howrah bridge . The water is clean and the sea is beautiful. Don't go without the guide . He will show you many things which you may miss if u travel alone. After the Coral walk if you feel tried , then enjoy the local fruits near the beach.
  • Outstanding natural beauty. The blue water and blue sky will melt ur heart and mind.
  • One of the many beautiful beaches in the region great calm place where you just forget about everything and just watch the waves in the sea
  • Laxmanpur beach beautiful beach . First u need ferry to reach this beach to Havelock. Havelock to laxmanpur beach 2 hours distance to ferry better to stay in laxmanpur beach .
