Laxmanpur Beach, Neil Island

4.5
#2 of 7 in Things to do in Neil Island
Enjoy a beautiful, white sand beach full of shells and corals as you stroll the long coastline with scenic views upon the sea at Laxmanpur Beach. This beach is renowned for the impressive sunsets and sunrises, as well as its sheer size in which you can find solitude and peace of mind in even the most crowded periods of day. Stay at several nearby hotels and shop in the stores selling shell jewelry and items made of coral. Swimming is not recommended as the sea floor is full of corals and shells that can hurt your feet, and after a certain distance the beach has a sudden depth. • It is fun hanging out at laxmanpur waiting for the sun to go down. Grab a couple of smokes, a couple of coconuts and chill.  more »

  • A great place to see the sun set on the bay of Bengal. The beach is clean, with white sands and beautiful water. The local flora is a treat for the eyes, and quite intriguing, as I had never seen such diversity before. The beach gets very crowded in the evening, so it is suggested that you get there early.
  • Very amazing place. Peaceful and with almost no one around. Neat and clean water. The view from this place is so amazing.
  • Heavenly beach... untouched beauty of andman islands...sunset is awesome....you feel relax and out of this world...just bliss full...togetherness with nature....must visit tourist attraction place.....you can also find sea 🐚 and starfish and precious sea stones all over the beach....
  • One of the amazing breaches of the Andaman islands. One thing to notice though during high tide force of the waves are very high so avoid this beach during this time. During low tide you can enjoy the beach as very few people visit this beach. There are some stalls from which you can have a quick bite. If you booked the room on Pearl park beach resort then this beach is few moments away from you.
  • Shell hunting and sunset view are popular at this white-sand beach. Crowd free peaceful place.
