An important pilgrimage site, Nashik can accommodate large numbers of visitors from all walks of life, with a variety of lodgings from the upper end to small budget guesthouses. Most luxurious hotels follow the Nashik Freeway through the Uttan Nagar and Wasan Nagar areas, while mid-range options focus along Route 848 converging in Gangawadi on the south bank of the Godavari River. Budget accommodations, called dharamshalas, can be found across the city. Some of the best mid-range hotels lie on the Agra-Pune highway and in Ambad.

  • This place is about 9-10 years old, much newer than its neighbour Sula. Hence the crowd is much less and the wine tour and tasting is much better. I costs about 250/person for wine tour and taste. They show crushing unit and wine storage tanks in the tour, they have a very small vineyard maybe about 6 acres and procure most of the grapes from farmers in Nashik. They make about 5lac litres of wine every year. In the tasting session you get to taste 7 different kinds of wine, 1 sparkling, 2 white, 1 Rosé, 2 red and 1 late harvest. Their Rosé wine is really good. We even bought one of it home it costs about 540₹ /750ml. You get 10% off in their wines when you buy it at vineyards. They have small restaurant with amazing view. The view from York is brilliant as it overlooks the lake and the place is not crowded hence feels serene.
