Witness the grandeur of Indian architecture at Kalaram Temple, an 18th-century structure with a black Lord Rama statue inside. According to legend, the temple was built on the basis of a dream of its founder, Sardar Odhekar, in which he pulled the dark Rama statue from the river Godavari. It took 200 workers some 12 years to build the structure, which stands 21 m (70 ft) tall. Head inside to see the mythical figure, and the awe-inspiring apex made completely of gold.
