Hazur Sahib, Nanded
Categories: Architectural Buildings, Tourist Spots
Visit Hazur Sahib, a principal Sikh shrine marking the place of the death of Guru Gobind Singh. From the outside, admire the intricate architecture of the off-white facade before venturing inside. Be surrounded by golden walls, as locals pay their respects within their place of worship. Above you, the “kalash” on the pinnacle is made of gold plated copper. A “Gurudwara” or throne was constructed on the place of the Guru’s death and is a symbol of immense heritage and culture. Two other shrines can be found within the complex as well as a place of cremation. To visit Hazur Sahib on your trip to Nanded, use our Nanded family vacation planner.
